Job summary

Danfoss in Forest City, North Carolina is seeking a Production Operator I for the 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm) to operate production equipment and manufacture hydraulic hose. The role reports to the shift Manufacturing Supervisor and emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity in a clean, orderly work environment.

Responsibilities include stencil and inspect, finishing (cut/coi­l & eject/test), mandrel prep, and braid operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must be local – no relocation offered.

Responsibilities

• Stencil & Inspect: Operates the stencil machine and inspects hoses for defects.
• Finishing: Cuts, coils, ejects mandrel, and proof tests hoses to meet specifications.
• Mandrel Prep: Prepares rubber or grilon mandrels for extrusion.
• Braid: Operates braider machines to reinforce hoses with yarn.
