Job summary

Danfoss in Mountain Home, Arkansas, is hiring a 3rd Shift Production Operator to run production equipment and manufacture hydraulic hoses. The role reports to the shift Manufacturing Supervisor and is a 3rd shift position.

Responsibilities include stencil & inspect, finishing, mandrel prep, wire winding, and wrap/unwarp of hoses, with emphasis on safety and quality. High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred; strong teamwork and TPM practices required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred (1 year).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow 5S and TPM practices.

Responsibilities

• Stencil & Inspect: operate stencil machine; inspect hoses for defects.
• Finishing (Cut/Coil & Eject/Test): eject mandrel, proof test hose, cut and coil for shipping.
• Mandrel Prep (Rubber & Grilon): prepare mandrel for extrusion.
• Wire Winder: prepare customer-supplied wire on bobbins for braid process.
• Wrap/Unwrap: wrap or unwrap extruded hose for curing.
