Job summary

Value Added Distributors in Dyersville, IA is seeking a Production Associate to join our team. The role focuses on accurately cutting and assembling hydraulic hoses while adhering to company policies and customer requirements.

The position offers a 4-day work week, day shift from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime on Fridays as needed. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to operate saws, crimpers, and forklifts.
• Able to read and interpret technical work instructions and documentation.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product parts according to production guidelines.
• Complete and submit inspection paperwork.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment per safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Follow quality standards and inspection processes.
• Support team to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines.
• Identify and help resolve product nonconformances.
• Participate in training and demonstrate quality, safety, and compliance.
• Wear required PPE.
• Cross-train in various areas of the business.

• Perform additional duties to support requirements.
