Value Added Distributors, LLC in Rockford, IL is hiring a full-time Production Associate – Hose Assembler. This day-shift role supports customers with safe, high-quality hydraulic assemblies and offers stable hours.

You will assemble hose parts, monitor quality, operate hand and power tools, and keep your work area clean. Benefits include health, dental, vision, paid vacation and holidays, and a 401(k) with employer match. We value reliability, teamwork, and safety.

Competenze

• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds safely.
• Experience with hand and power tools is helpful.
• Basic computer skills are desirable.
• Able to apply basic math in production tasks.
• Able to read tape measures and digital calipers.
• Able to work quickly, accurately, and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or GED.

  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assemble assigned product parts (hydraulic hose assemblies) in alignment with production guidelines, company policies/procedures, and customer requirements
• Monitor quality processes and complete inspection paperwork accurately
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment
• Maintain a neat, clean work area at all times
• Build and apply detailed knowledge of production processes
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds using proper lifting techniques
• Skill using equipment such as saws, crimpers, forklifts, etc
• Computer skills are highly desirable
• Comfort applying basic math skills in production settings
• Ability to use and read tape measures and digital calipers
• You work quickly, accurately, and independently in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• 18 years of age or older is required to operate equipment
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
