Job summary
Randerson Technical Staffing seeks a Hydraulic Engineer to contribute to water and wastewater projects. You will apply hydraulic modeling, analyze treatment systems, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
The role supports sustainable infrastructure across diverse projects. Responsibilities include modeling, reporting, stormwater strategies, floodplain analysis, and cost estimating, with drafting in AutoCAD/Civil 3D/MicroStation and GIS workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software such as SWMM or HEC-HMS.
- Strong knowledge of water resources management, water treatment processes, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS or GIS platforms.
- Ability to interpret geotechnical data and apply geotechnical engineering principles within hydraulic contexts.
Responsibilities
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analysis for various types of improvements.
- Hydraulic and hydrologic reports.
- Stormwater detention; evaluate and implement stormwater management strategies.
- Floodplain modeling.
- Creating and reviewing technical specifications.
- Preparing cost estimates of construction projects.
- Developing reports, technical memos, and design studies.
- Other duties as assigned.
