Hydraulic Cylinder Technician - Sign-On Bonus $1,500

We are currently offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for new Hydraulic Cylinder Technician hires, payable after 90 days of employment.

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is hiring a Hydraulic Cylinder Technician in Chesapeake, Virginia. This entry-level position provides training to disassemble, inspect, repair/replace, reassemble, and test hydraulic cylinders to meet factory specifications. No previous experience is required, but strong aptitude is essential. Duties include troubleshooting and accurately diagnosing and repairing equipment. Previous experience troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment failures is preferred but not required. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Requirements

1. Strong mechanical aptitude.
2. Self-motivated team player.
3. Willingness and ability to learn operation of specialized shop equipment.
4. Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office and service software.
5. Flexibility to work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.

Physical Requirements
