Job summary

Remedy Staffing is seeking an associate for production support in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role focuses on assembling and testing fluid power systems to meet safety and performance specs, with a strong emphasis on quality and hands-on work.

The position runs 1st shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, offering $18.25/hour. Prior hydraulic testing or mechanical assembly experience is preferred, along with proficiency using hand tools and gauges.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in hydraulic system testing or related mechanical testing environment.
• Production assembly and mechanical experience; proficient with hand tools, gauges, and test instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing and removing fittings.
• Complete basic assembles and testing.
• Place products on pallets for storage.
• Box and prep units for shipments.
• Pull orders or put orders away.
• Audit POs as kits come in to verify part quantities.
• Clean up building (mop, sweep, trash, break down boxes, stack totes).

North America's largest distributor of Fluid Power & Motion Control Solutions is looking for an associate to assist with Production.

This is a hands-on role requiring a strong understanding of fluid power systems, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing systems and components to ensure they meet performance and safety specifications.

Shift/Hours:

1st Shift, 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday – Friday

Pay:

$18.25/hour

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist with installing and removing fittings
• Complete basic assembles and testing
• Place Products on Pallets for Storage
• Box and Prep units for shipments
• Pull orders or put orders away
• Audit PO's as kits come in to verify part quantities
• Clean Up building (Mop, Sweep, Take out the trash, break down boxes and stack empty part totes)

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in hydraulic system testing or related mechanical testing environment.
• Production Assembly, Technical and Mechanical experience. Proficient with hand tools, gauges, and test instruments
