Job summary

BrightPath Kids USA is hiring a Workers' Compensation Coordinator to administer and monitor the workers' compensation program, from injury reporting to resolution and return to work. You will act as a resource for employees and leaders, coordinating with HR, payroll, and external partners.

The role requires managing modified-duty assignments, ensuring compliance with state laws, and delivering training on workers' compensation practices.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Human Resources experience
• 2 years of experience in workers' compensation, leave administration, benefits, insurance, or claims management
• Experience working with third-party administrators, insurance carriers, or claims adjusters preferred
• Multi-state workers' compensation experience preferred
• Texas-specific requirements knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor workers' compensation claims from injury report to resolution and return to work
• Review injury reports and ensure timely documentation
• Maintain confidential workers' compensation records
• Monitor claim status, medical treatment, work restrictions, lost time, benefits
• Communicate with third-party administrators, insurance carriers, and medical providers
• Apply workers' compensation laws, regulations, and company policies
• Provide guidance to leaders on return-to-work practices and policies
• Support managers with leave, accommodations, and related processes
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs
• Meet with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Protect confidentiality of employee information
