Job summary

CCMSI in Lisle, IL is hiring a Workers’ Compensation Claim Advocate (Adjuster) to investigate, evaluate, and adjust assigned claims. This hybrid role requires in-office presence 2x/month after training, with a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST, and a salary range of $70,000–$85,000.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of workers’ compensation experience, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust workers’ compensation claims.
• Establish reserves and provide reserve recommendations.
• Review and oversee medical, legal, and damage invoices for reasonableness.
• Authorize and make payments in accordance with procedures and authority.
• Negotiate settlements within standards and laws.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and monitor subrogation.
• Maintain diary entries and manage claim workflow.
• Communicate with clients, claimants and parties throughout the process.
• Provide notices of qualifying claims to carriers.
• Ensure compliance with claim handling standards and client instructions.
