Job summary

The State of North Carolina seeks a Workers’ Compensation Administrator to oversee and administer claims for an assigned facility or program area. You will ensure accurate application of policies, coordinate with leadership, HR, and legal counsel, and support return-to-work processes.

You will work across IHRPS and Workday to process actions, provide guidance, and improve handling of workers’ compensation cases for ongoing operations within a hybrid onsite role in Lenoir County.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting and communicating Workers’ Compensation regulations, policies, procedures and options.
• Strong oral and written communication with high levels of confidentiality.
• Experience developing and tracking OSHA 300 and 300A logs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer workers’ compensation claims for the assigned facility or program area.
• Provide expert consultation, coordination, interpretation, communication, and problem resolution related to workers’ compensation policies and procedures.
• Process workers’ compensation actions in IHRPS and Workday to ensure accuracy and timely updates.
