Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a highly experienced Head of Product for Portfolio Management to define the strategic vision, roadmap, and investment priorities for our investment platform ecosystem. You will lead cross-functional teams across trading, custody, and servicing to deliver scalable, innovative capabilities that enhance advisor and client outcomes.

You will influence senior leadership decisions, drive vendor integrations, and oversee governance while ensuring regulatory and fiduciary

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in wealth management, portfolio management, trading, custody, brokerage operations, or investment servicing.
• Experience leading product organizations responsible for large-scale portfolio management or trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, settlement, reconciliation, custody operations, and money movement.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision, roadmap, and investment priorities for Portfolio Management products.
• Prioritize investments across product portfolios to balance growth, risk, and client experience.
• Establish roadmaps, KPIs, and success metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams delivering investment platform capabilities.
• Partner with trading, operations, and technology teams to optimize trade generation and settlement processes.
• Drive initiatives to improve trading capacity, reduce risk, and enable scalable portfolio management.
• Identify value-chain constraints and develop strategic solutions to increase automation and resilience.
• Ensure platforms support client growth and evolving investment offerings.
• Provide industry leadership across wealth management and related domains.
• Evaluate and integrate vendor solutions to accelerate platform modernization.
