Job summary

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Work Management Specialist I/II/III or Principal Specialist in Pewaukee, WI. This hybrid role supports Customer Service and Operations by analyzing systems, defining scope, and implementing enhancements.

Expected to participate in storm restoration efforts and develop training materials. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent outage/work management experience), strong communication and project‑management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; in lieu of degree, 4+ years’ experience in outage or work management systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Project management skills and ability to provide effective formal management presentations of strategic and operational business issues.
• Strong analytical and computer skills and ability to identify creative solutions to complex and abstract issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining business systems through a system development life cycle.
• Ensure systems operate as designed, evaluate change requests, perform routine maintenance and document processes.
• Work on simple to moderately complex system projects to refine user requirements and implement improvements.
• Articulate customer and technology requirements in clear documents for customers and IT staff.
• Develop business cases for system improvements with guidance from more experienced staff.
• Maintain relationships with other IT areas and possibly with external vendors.
• Monitor system uptime, batches, reports, and assist end users in reporting.
• Provide end-user support and assist in system training materials and documentation.
