Job summary

AKIN is seeking a Care Coordinator to lead WISe wraparound for trauma-impacted children and families. You will facilitate Child and Family Team meetings, coordinate family supports, and ensure documentation and compliance within a hybrid work setting in the Seattle area.

Ideal candidates bring experience with children and families, strong communication, and knowledge of early childhood development. Training in HIPAA, anti-racism, and ongoing professional growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience working with children and families in social services or early intervention.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and ability to foster relationships with families.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and typing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications within 30 days of start.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• TB skin test required prior to start or documentation of prior positive test and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Child and Family Team meetings with agenda, tools, and resources.
• Coordinate weekly family check-ins and maintain case documentation in a 48-hour window.
• Maintain compliance with policy, contracts, and HIPAA requirements.
• Support families in identifying strengths and accessing resources.
• Engage in supervision, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
