Job summary

ActioNet is seeking a Windows Infrastructure & AGPM Engineer to design, implement, and secure enterprise Windows environments across on-premises, virtualization, and cloud platforms. The role emphasizes AGPM governance, GPO management, and hands-on Azure integration.

The ideal candidate will modernize and secure Windows infrastructures, automate tasks with PowerShell, and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams. Local on-site two days per week may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS or related field.
• 3+ years of Windows infrastructure administration, systems engineering, or enterprise IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with AGPM including change control, versioning, approvals, and rollback.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and virtualization, esp. Azure and VM administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise Windows Server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, file services).
• Administer GPOs and AGPM with change control, testing, and rollback.
• Manage Windows deployments, patching, and lifecycle maintenance.
• Administer Intune, SCCM/MECM, Autopilot, and Entra ID as applicable.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and reporting.
• Design, configure, optimize VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments.
• Support hybrid on-premises and Azure-based infrastructure.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery for virtualized and cloud environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
