Job summary

BP Americas, Inc. is seeking a Truck Logistics Coordinator to support the delivery performance of BP's carrier network across the West Coast.

The role is co-located with the support teams at the BP Cherry Point Refinery in Blaine, WA, and collaborates with Retail, Supply, and Trading teams to ensure reliable service. You will order and schedule light oil deliveries, coordinate with third-party carriers, and help optimize supply chains while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in supply, logistics or procurement.
• Proficiency with Excel and other analytical tools.
• Ability to work across multiple systems with attention to detail.
• Experience working with external partners on contracting or payments.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply reliability for ~500 retail sites on West Coast.
• Coordinate carrier activities for timely delivery and safety.
• Serve as primary contact for planned/unplanned supply availability.
• Communicate operational impacts and offer alternatives.
• Support cross-functional teams (Retail, Sales, Trading) as needed.
• Maintain scheduling systems and reflect current operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support growth agenda.
