Job summary

Based near our Cherry Point Refinery in Blaine, WA, this role sits within a commercial midstream logistics team and reports to the Truck Logistics Manager. A strong background in logistics and collaboration across functions is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply reliability for ~ 500 retail sites in BP’s west coast direct retail market and jet fuel, ethanol, biodiesel, and additive deliveries.
• Support safe, reliable and efficient product delivery.
• Collaborate with carriers, internal customers and 3PL for logistics coordination and delivery of product via secondary transportation.
• Coordinate ordering, scheduling and delivery of all light oil and related products within a prescribed geography.
• Serve as primary contact for planned/unplanned supply communications to internal and external partners.
• Coordinate carrier activities to resolve product quality events.
• Use Midstream Logistics Hub, Telapoint and other tools to facilitate reliable delivery.
• Coordinate new terminal set-ups and set-up timelines.
• Coordinate retail site administration and related activities.
• Handle retail site billing questions and rebills.
• Maintain scheduling systems to reflect current operations.
• Identify and deliver cost efficiency ideas to capture value.
• Build relationships with the M&C team for collaboration and problem solving.
