The Recruiting Hive is assisting a private engineering firm for a Water Resources Project Manager role in Parsippany, NJ. Hybrid arrangement: three days on site. Base salary $120,000–$160,000 with discretionary year-end bonus. Requires 8+ years in water/wastewater consulting and a NJ PE license (or comity pathway).

Responsibilities include lead design, regulatory coordination with NJDEP, funding coordination, and mentorship of junior staff while maintaining close client relationships.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field
• 8+ years of water and wastewater experience in a consulting environment with ownership of scope, schedule and budget
• New Jersey PE license or ability to obtain NJ licensure by comity; strong EIT with PE exam scheduled considered
• Hands-on design authorship: drawings, specs, basis of design reports and permit applications you personally prepared
• Working knowledge of NJDEP regulations and the permitting process
• Experience carrying client relationships and writing fee proposals

• Full lifecycle project management on water and wastewater projects from planning through construction
• Manage scope, schedule and budget; develop proposals and negotiate scope
• Direct design team producing drawings, specs, basis of design reports, and contract documents
• Coordinate regulatory aspects with NJDEP including TWAs, NJPDES, and water quality planning
• Maintain client relationships with municipal and authority clients post-project
• Coordinate funding with NJ Infrastructure Bank and related programs
• Mentor project engineers and junior staff
