Fuss & O’Neill, Inc. in New Haven, CT is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to lead projects from concept through commissioning. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and engage with clients and regulators to deliver high-quality wastewater solutions.

The role offers hybrid in-office and remote work, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance, client relationships, and team mentorship. A PE license and extensive project experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 8+ years in wastewater treatment design and process engineering.
• Strong experience with municipal wastewater treatment and nutrient removal.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of wastewater treatment projects including new facilities, expansions, and upgrades.
• Lead process evaluation and design for primary to tertiary systems including BNR.
• Oversee process modeling, mass balance analyses, and capacity evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates; support permitting.
