Job summary

Surge Staffing in Sewickley, PA is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Driver. This hands-on hybrid role combines local delivery driving with warehouse responsibilities, not a driving-only position.

You will spend substantial time in the warehouse picking and packing orders, organizing materials, assembling brackets with basic hand tools, and then drive a van to deliver to customers and job sites, staying organized and safe throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, or material handling experience is a plus.
• Comfortable driving a van.
• Comfortable performing both warehouse and driving duties.
• Basic ability to use hand tools and assemble components.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Willingness to learn company-specific processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack products and materials for customer deliveries.
• Prepare and stage orders for delivery.
• Load and unload materials from the company van.
• Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
• Assemble brackets and other components using basic hand tools.
• Follow assembly instructions and ensure components are properly assembled.
• Check orders for accuracy before shipment or delivery.
• Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Drive a company van to make local deliveries.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products.
• Deliver materials to customers and job sites in a professional and timely manner.
• Verify delivery information and obtain required documentation/signatures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic condition of the company vehicle.
• Follow all traffic and company safety requirements.
