Job summary

The People Concern seeks a strategic Vice President of Operations for its TPC Homes division in Los Angeles. You will build the operational backbone, creating systems, processes and compliance capabilities to scale impact while maintaining quality.

You will lead portfolio-wide operations, drive data-driven decision making, and collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with the mission of providing affordable and supportive housing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred for strategic leadership roles.
• Proven track record building/optimizing operational systems in growing organizations.
• Experience with housing development, portfolio and asset operations, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate, portfolio and property-level operations including asset management, finance and compliance.
• Build infrastructure, systems and policies to create consistency and scalability across the portfolio.
• Set performance goals, develop dashboards and KPIs, and drive data-enabled decision making.
• Partner with Executive Director on organizational planning and growth strategy.
• Lead external relationships with finance, accounting and legal consultants.
• Support development pipeline by evaluating new properties against operational criteria.
