Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Jersey City, NJ, seeks a Technology Lead Business Analyst (VP) to bridge business and technology teams for equities trading OMS. You will translate desk needs into scalable solutions and influence global trading workflows.

You will collaborate with front-office traders, technology, and risk teams across geographies to ensure timely delivery of high-impact automation initiatives within trading technology.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis within financial services technology.
• Hands–on experience working with trading applications, including Order Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of equities markets and front office trading workflows.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives across different teams and geographies.
• Strong analytical and diplomatic skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for engaging both technical and business audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between equities trading desks and technology teams to translate business requirements into clear, actionable system specifications.
• Analyze OMS workflows and trading applications to identify enhancements that improve speed, accuracy, and functionality.
• Develop technical solutions for complex, high-volume trading applications in partnership with business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and applications across global trading locations to ensure consistent delivery.
• Contribute to product roadmap planning, governance processes, and the definition of standards for new automation initiatives within trading technology.
• Communicate system scope, risks, and recommended solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Supervise day-to-day resource allocation and mentor onsite and offsite team members to support project delivery.
• Evaluate risk implications of business and technology decisions, escalating issues with transparency to safeguard Citi and its clients.
