Upgrade Resources, a leading Texas electrical contractor, is seeking a Virtual Designer in Dallas. You will create 3D Revit models from field layouts, coordinate BIM across trades, and mentor junior detailers. The role blends in-office and work-from-home days, supporting fast-paced project schedules.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years CAD drafting in commercial construction, Revit proficiency, and a strong eye for detail. This hybrid position offers competitive pay and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting in commercial construction (electrical a plus).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CAD Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit required.

Responsibilities

• Build 3D models from field layouts using Revit and Navisworks.
• Perform BIM coordination and clash resolution with Navisworks Manage.
• Upload models and coordinate through the GC-led BIM process.
• Mentor and train Detailers in producing shop drawings.
• Develop and maintain Revit templates, details, and graphic standards.
