Job summary

Upgrade Resources in Dallas seeks a Virtual Designer to lay out and produce electrical shop drawings using CAD/REVIT, with BIM coordination across disciplines under the Sr. Virtual Design team. The role collaborates with operations, general contractors, and MEP partners to ensure install‑ready, coordinated systems aligned to schedules.

This hybrid position requires Revit expertise, NAVISWORKS proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight project timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting in commercial construction, electrical experience a plus.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Build 3D models from field layouts using Revit and Navisworks.
• Perform BIM coordination, clash detection and resolution.
• Upload models and support GC-led BIM coordination to sign-off.
• Mentor detailers in producing detailed shop drawings.
• Produce BOMs for procurement and labor tracking.
