DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Portland, OR, is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to join our community engagement team. You will nurture local referring veterinarian relationships, develop programs to increase hospital referrals, and help renew lapsed referrers while encouraging growth with current partners.

The role is hybrid, combining on-site work, remote work, and local travel, with a competitive salary range and benefits that support staff welfare and animal care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or journalism; or AS degree from accredited vet tech program.
• 1–3 years in inside or outside sales or customer service.
• 1–3 years’ experience in the Animal Health Industry.
• Experience in a veterinary clinic is highly preferred.
• Reliable transportation is essential.
• Equivalent combo of experience or education will substitute.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and develop local referring veterinarian (rDVM) relations through consistent contact.
• Ensure awareness of and satisfaction with DoveLewis services and programs.
• Develop and implement effective ways to acquire hospital referrals.
• Renew lapsed referrers and encourage growth with current referrers.
