Job summary

InteCare in Indianapolis is seeking a Veteran Services Program Manager to lead the SSVF program, ensuring Veterans and their families obtain and maintain permanent housing. The role emphasizes training new team members and providing ongoing direction to staff.

You will supervise SSVF staff, monitor performance, coordinate with subcontractors, manage program documentation, and represent the program at community events. Regular travel within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred; supervisory experience required.
• Minimum three years of experience in adult case management or mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and oversee subordinate positions and staff performance.
• Train, mentor, and onboard SSVF staff; provide supervision and documentation.
• Ensure all enrollments, exits, and program activities comply with SSVF policies and standards.
• Monitor caseloads, productivity, and capacity; approve client exits.
• Maintain confidentiality of program participants and documents.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and partners to improve outcomes.
• Represent the program at community events and manage special projects.
