Job summary

United Access is seeking a Vehicle Data Specialist to maintain accurate vehicle inventory data across locations and systems. You will investigate discrepancies, monitor movement from order to in-store inventory, and support reconciliation efforts to ensure retail readiness.

You will coordinate with teams across Vehicle Intake, Appraisals, Accounting, IT, Sales, Rental, Commercial, and store operations, using Excel, Outlook, and Teams to streamline processes and reduce discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive operations, vehicle inventory, dealership administration, fleet operations, data administration, or a related operational support function.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate vehicle inventory data across locations and systems.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate with teams to correct records.
• Monitor vehicle movement from ordering to in-stock inventory.
• Support physical inventory reconciliation and resolve differences.
• Manage access for vehicle and inventory systems and deactivations when needed.
• Serve as a resource for questions related to inventory records and processes.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve inventory-data issues.
• Document recurring issues and opportunities to improve or automate processes.
