Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) seeks a User Experience (UX) Designer & Researcher to support a DoW modernization program. Hybrid work from Reston, VA with occasional on-site government facility support, 40 hours weekly, 9:00 am–3:00 pm EST core hours, security clearance required.

The role combines UX research and design to deliver intuitive, accessible, and consistent experiences across multiple applications, with a focus on WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in UX research and design for enterprise or government web applications.
• Experience with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) or equivalent design system.
• Familiarity with accessibility evaluation tools such as axe.
• Active Secret security clearance preferred or higher.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct discovery interviews with analysts, industry users, and the public to understand needs and workflows.
• Facilitate bi-weekly usability testing sessions to evaluate design effectiveness.
• Translate research findings into personas, journey maps, and prioritized recommendations.
• Design intuitive user interfaces using a USWDS-based design framework and ensure accessibility compliance (Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA).
