Job summary

BBVA USA in New York is seeking a US DCM Analyst to originate and structure debt capital market transactions for BBVA’s U.S. client portfolio. You will analyze market trends, prepare internal reporting, and create marketing materials for prospects and clients.

The role requires strong financial modeling, DCF, and Excel/PowerPoint skills, plus FINRA licenses or willingness to obtain within six months. Hybrid role based in New York with exposure to global teams and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Degree in economics, finance, or related field.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
Understanding of bank and bond markets; financial statement analysis.
Proficient in financial modeling and DCF.
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Fluent in English.
FINRA SIE, Series 79 and Series 63 required or willing to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

Assist in weekly market updates for internal and external clients, discussing bond market conditions and trends in the U.S. and Europe.
Identify pricing parameters for issuers in context of market and peer groups.
Prepare and maintain the debt capital markets pricing analysis database.
Contribute to the preparation of debt capital markets proposals and marketing materials.
Provide support in internal credit proposals with detailed market analysis.
Manage internal deal process through closing and organize deal files.
Coordinate with BBVA US and Europe departments to meet responsibilities.
Prepare and monitor the bond closing process.
