Job summary

BBVA in New York seeks a Debt Capital Markets Analyst to originate and structure transactions for the U.S. client portfolio. You will analyze bond market trends, prepare market updates, and contribute to pricing analyses and client materials.

The role requires strong financial modeling, DCF, and presentation skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. FINRA licenses or willingness to obtain within 6 months are expected, in a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or related field.
• Strong financial analysis and valuation skills.
• Experience with financial modeling and DCF analysis.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for client materials.
• Experience with Bloomberg terminal is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of weekly market updates for internal and external clients, discussing bond market conditions and trends across the U.S. and Europe.
• Identify appropriate pricing parameters for issuers in context of market and peer groups.
• Prepare and maintain the debt capital markets pricing analysis database.
• Contribute to the preparation of debt capital markets proposals and marketing materials.
• Provide support in the preparation of internal credit proposals, including detailed credit and market analysis.
• Manage internal deal process through closing and manage deal files.
• Coordinate with BBVA NY and BBVA Group teams in the U.S. and Europe to meet responsibilities.
