Job summary

DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking an Operations Specialist to support the underwriting department in San Diego, CA or Chicago, IL. This hybrid role focuses on data entry, reporting, and administrative support to streamline workflows and ensure policy accuracy.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of office experience, preferably in insurance, with strong MS Office and agency management system skills. Travel is 0–10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant office experience.
• Insurance industry experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of insurance terminology.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains documentation of back-office and underwriting processes.
• Trains new underwriting teams on system usage.
• Coordinates business process outsourcing (BPO) tasks.
• Assists onboarding of new teams, programs and projects.
• Sends underwriting notices, documentation and reports as directed.
• Collaborates with divisions within DUAL NA on projects.
• Supports run-off programs and other clerical tasks.
