Responsibilities

• Complete underwriting training curriculum and learn workers compensation rules and pricing.
• Review applications accurately for pricing and determine information needs with agency partners.
• Analyze current and prospective policyholders to quote, indicate, or decline.
• Communicate pricing within authority to brokers using industry standards and databases.
• Escalate issues promptly to the Supervisor when needed.
• Collaborate with underwriting support to bind policies and prepare loss-control requests.
• Maintain professional communications with clients and internal partners for service excellence.
• Support agency visits with underwriting and marketing teams to strengthen relationships.
• Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.
