Responsibilities

• Complete underwriting training curriculum covering workers' compensation law, pricing, and service standards.
• Review applications for insurance coverage for pricing accuracy and gather information from agencies.
• Analyze current and prospective policyholders to determine quotation, indication or declination.
• Communicate pricing within authority to brokers using industry standards and software.
• Escalate issues to Supervisor when needed.
• Coordinate with Underwriting Support to bind policies and prepare Loss Control requests.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure timely responses and deadlines.
• Accompany underwriters to agency visits for relationship building.
• Perform special assignments and projects.
