Job summary

TC Energy Corp. is seeking a Category Specialist – Turbomachinery to manage an OEM portfolio and related repair/overhaul supply base across the Americas. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships and contract commitments, and deliver lifecycle value across Canada, the U.S.

and Mexico. Collaborating with Project teams, Fleet Specialists, Engineering and Legal, you will align equipment procurement with maintenance lifecycle, spares planning and delivery schedules, while

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary in a related field.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day commercial engagement with OEMs and service providers; coordinate supplier reviews, monitor delivery, overhaul turnaround time, cost and quality commitments, and drive corrective actions and timely escalation.
• Build and sustain relationships with project and business unit customers, other Supply Chain teams, and cross-functional stakeholders; collaborate to develop mutually acceptable solutions that maximize value.
• Consolidate project and fleet demand into forward-looking equipment, parts and maintenance forecasts; align supplier capacity with project schedules and outage requirements.
• Develop competitive and alternative repair and overhaul sourcing strategies, including multi-year bundled programs, capital spares, lease and exchange models, in collaboration with Fleet and Engineering.
