TC Energy Corp. is seeking a Category Specialist - Turbomachinery to manage OEM portfolios, repairs and overhaul supply bases across Canada, the United States and Mexico.

You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate agreements and lead cross-functional collaboration to secure supply and optimize lifecycle value. The role supports fleet reliability and capital spares programs, with a hybrid work model in North America.

Formación

• Post-secondary in a related field.
• Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain day-to-day commercial engagement with OEMs and service providers; coordinate supplier reviews, monitor delivery, overhaul turnaround time, cost and quality commitments, and drive corrective actions.
• Build and sustain relationships with project and business unit customers, other Supply Chain teams, and cross-functional stakeholders; develop mutually beneficial solutions.
• Consolidate project and fleet demand into forward-looking equipment, parts and maintenance forecasts; align supplier capacity with schedules and outage requirements.
• Develop competitive repair and overhaul sourcing strategies, including multi-year bundled programs, capital spares, lease and exchange models.
• Implement category strategy through portfolio and project-specific sourcing plans and commercial structures.
• Develop, negotiate and manage equipment purchase agreements and long-term service agreements with stakeholders.
• Analyze supplier capacity, lead times, spend, pricing and risk; prepare concise recommendations for leadership.
• Support equipment standardization, supplier qualification and evaluation of new technologies with technical stakeholders.
• Lead EOI/SOI and RFx processes, coordinate clarifications, and develop evaluation and award recommendations.
• Compare commercial scenarios to guide sourcing decisions and assess total cost of ownership.
• Maintain contract records, commitments and action trackers in SCM systems; coordinate follow-up and change management.
