Zurich Cover-More Travel Guard seeks a Claims Adjuster to assess and investigate travel-related claims within a 150-mile radius of Stevens Point, WI. Training is provided, and the role emphasizes customer support, clear documentation, and compliance with regulations.

Expect a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. You will develop expertise in claims processes, licensing within 6 months, and collaboration with stakeholders to resolve claims within 30–45 days.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• Be eager to learn new skills within the claims and insurance industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An eye for details, supporting thorough investigations and precise documentation.
• Willing to obtain your State Specific Adjuster Licensing within 6 months of employment.
• Live within 150 miles of Stevens Point, WI and willing to commute into the office 2-3 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support to claimants throughout the claims process.
• Spend 50-75% of your time conversing with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution within 30-45 days.
• Assess new and existing claims for coverage, conduct investigations and establish clear action plans.
• Communicate with claimants using empathy to gather necessary documentation.
• Apply policy guidelines to determine coverage and claim validity.
• Maintain detailed claim records within internal claims systems.
• Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements in all applicable jurisdictions.
