Job summary

Zurich Cover-More's Travel Guard team is seeking a Claims Adjuster to support travel insurance claims from Stevens Point, WI, within a 150-mile radius. The role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

You'll assess and investigate claims, communicate empathetically with claimants, and ensure timely resolutions while complying with policy guidelines and regulatory requirements. Training provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service experience
• Be eager to learn new skills within the claims and insurance industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An eye for details, supporting thorough investigations and precise documentation
• Willingness to obtain your State Specific Adjuster Licensing within 6 months of employment
• Live within 150 miles of Stevens Point, WI and willing to commute into the office 2-3 days per month

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support to claimants throughout the claims process
• Spend 50-75% of your time conversing with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution within 30-45 days
• Assess new and existing claims for coverage, conduct claim investigations and establish clear action plans
• Communicate with claimants using empathy to gather necessary documentation
• Apply policy guidelines to determine coverage and claim validity
• Maintain detailed claim records within internal systems
• Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements in applicable jurisdictions
