Child & Family in Providence, RI seeks a Youth Support Specialist to provide case management and wraparound services within a trauma-informed framework. You will support Independent Living Program clients to promote life skills and self-sufficiency.

The role is hybrid with 20% remote work. Requires 1+ year experience with youth, Spanish bilingual preference, and a valid driver’s license for transporting residents. Occasional weekend/on-call work is expected.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children/adolescents.
• Weekend and on-call availability.
• Statewide travel required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to communicate with diverse populations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and car registration.
• Background checks and medical clearances required.

Aufgaben

• Conducts an initial client assessment to determine opportunities, needs, and required services.
• Develops a support plan with the client centering wraparound services.
• Implements behavior support practices using trauma-informed techniques to monitor and document incidents and client status.
• Assists clients with employment, education, household management, financial literacy, social skills, and community resources.
• Maintains client records and documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinates intakes with state agencies and participates in client intakes and support meetings; collaborates with community partners.
• Responsible for transporting residents by agency vehicle per policies.
