Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer to lead the transportation team on projects in Cleveland, OH or Akron, OH with a hybrid work model. The candidate must hold a PE license and have ODOT experience, with relocation support available.

The role includes design, documentation, cost estimation, QA/QC, and client satisfaction through collaboration with engineers, planners, technicians, and clients.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Professional Engineer.
• ODOT project experience required.
• Strong business development and client management skills.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer and related design software.
• Knowledge of ODOT design criteria, standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary transportation teams.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee project quality and deliverables.
• Mentor and support entry-level staff.
• Manage budgets, work plans, sub-consultants, and schedules.
• Solve challenging problems and advance client goals.
