Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services is hiring a Transportation Operations Coordinator in California to support transportation operations, driver communications, customer service, and compliance. This hybrid role involves serving as the central point of contact between drivers, customers, payroll, and operations teams.

After onsite training (about 30–60 days), you will transition to a hybrid schedule based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of transportation experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to persuade an audience.
• Ability to interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellence in customer service, ensuring all clients are treated equally.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of all data entry into Ultra Staff.
• Track and maintain company documents to stay compliant.
• Retrieve sensitive information from internal staff members.
• Collaborate with team members and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Interact with customers and internal team members via telephone, email, and online chats, providing support and information on assigned services.
• Resolve problems and concerns with appropriate actions.
• Maintain files containing confidential information and manage client billing info.
• Assist with the annual customer rate increase and interface with payroll and billing.
• Collaborate with Sales, Recruiting, Compliance, and Payroll to ensure cohesiveness.
• Emphasize a culture that prioritizes worker safety.
