Xcel Energy in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Transmission Production Cost Modeling Analyst to shape electric system planning using PROMOD and related tools. You will develop energy market forecasts, support regulatory testimony, and deliver independent analyses of transmission projects with a focus on cost optimization and reliability.

Ideal candidates have a BS/BA in a quantitative field and at least 5 years of experience in transmission analysis and wholesale energy markets, with strong data

Formación

• Advanced quantitative analysis skills with experience in transmission planning and market-based analyses.
• Experience analyzing transmission systems and wholesale energy markets using production cost tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory filings, direct testimony, and data handling for modeling inputs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in development of energy market forecasts for electric transmission development.
• Support development of direct testimony for regulatory proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior modelers to respond to regulatory information requests.
