Job summary

DTE Energy seeks an intermediate level engineer to independently evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques for operation and maintenance of company assets. You will collaborate with teams and use judgment to adapt and solve problems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Engineering Technology and at least 2 years of related experience, with a Master's preferred. Proficiency in Excel and Word is expected, along with strong time management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required; 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word) and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering assignments, proposing solutions to engineering-related problems.
• Collaborates with experienced engineers to implement timely solutions for design, operation, andmaintenance of assets.
• Develops models and analyzes data to recommend improvements and presents findings to management.
• Provides field engineering assistance or technical support as needed.
• Keeps up to date on current technology and market trends.
