Job summary

DTE Energy is seeking an engineer to perform assignments by following defined processes and instructions, developing solutions for engineering problems and supporting maintenance of assets and market optimization.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related fields, 2–6 years of relevant experience depending on staff/senior/principal levels, and the ability to work in a hybrid schedule with in-person duties at an assigned location, while meeting NQA and NRC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics or mathematics.
• Relevant Navy nuclear experience acceptable.
• Background check/medical certs and safety requirements may apply.
• Staff level: 2 years of experience; Senior: 4 years; Principal: 6 years.

Responsibilities

• Proposes solutions to engineering problems and implements timely fixes.
• Develops models and analyzes data to recommend improvements in processes and programs.
• Provides field engineering assistance or technical support as needed.
• Ensures compliance with NQA documentation and NRC requirements.
