Job summary

KLR is a leading New England CPA and advisory firm seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Manager for a hybrid role in Providence, RI or Boston, MA. You will lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements and work with cross-functional teams to deliver insights for private and publicly-held clients.

The role requires CPA or CFA designation, 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance; audit background preferred
• CPA or CFA designation required
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and financial analysis
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with private equity or portfolio companies is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements from planning through delivery
• Analyze target company financials to identify key trends, risks, and value drivers
• Identify pre- and post-acquisition considerations and integration risks
• Drive deal insights including purchase price adjustments and deal structuring
• Evaluate business models, revenue streams, and cost structures for viability
• Prepare and review comprehensive due diligence reports
• Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members
• Collaborate with valuation, tax, IT, and other advisory teams
• Serve as primary client contact and communicate findings to leadership
• Contribute to training programs and update due diligence methodologies
