Job summary

Semper Valens Solutions in Columbia, MD, is seeking a Training & Maintenance Engineer to join our hybrid team. You will deliver NET and advanced courses to Cyber Protection Teams, while managing logistics and maintaining equipment at the Forge facility.

This role blends hands-on maintenance with instructor-level training, supporting senior engineers as an individual contributor. You will develop and deliver training on updates, troubleshoot live sessions, and maintain program kits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in technical support, systems administration, or hardware/network repair.
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing server and network equipment failures.
• Experience delivering technical training to government or military personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems methodically and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver New Equipment Training (NET) to Cyber Protection Team personnel at training locations.
• Present maintainer and train-the-trainer courses as the program matures.
• Deliver training on system updates and new features; conduct hands-on demonstrations and labs.
• Troubleshoot system issues during live training and adapt instruction based on learner feedback.
• Coordinate equipment pickup, delivery, and shipment; manage class resources and training materials.
