Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a Cyber Instructor to design, develop, and deliver highly technical advanced training across the defense sector. You will work in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment with instructors and curriculum developers to create engaging content and practical exercises.

The role requires a background in joint service defensive operations, cyber host operations, and travel up to 30% CONUS/OCONUS. Work is hybrid, with on-site engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• Clearance required: Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors, 8 with Masters, or 14 years with HS diploma.
• Experience delivering technical training in classrooms or small groups.
• Experience in cyber operations and analysis.
• Experience in training curriculum development.
• Experience with IDS/IPS/SIEM tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% CONUS/OCONUS.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 1–2 days in the local office.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and engage customers to define learning requirements for complex technical concepts.
• Develop training materials in formats like web-based training, videos, slides, guides, labs, and use cases.
• Conduct advanced training courses on cyber hunt, log analysis, intrusion investigation, and platform architecture.
• Revise materials to stay current with development processes.
• Maintain relationships with SMEs and industry professionals for up-to-date content.
• Collaborate with other trainers to build comprehensive programs.
• Mentor internal teams on technical skills and critical thinking.
• Stay current with emerging threats to provide timely training.
• Travel as needed for on-site training deliveries.
