Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Training and Development Manager to lead a team of Training Associates and support onboarding and training for US Commercial field staff across multiple business units in virtual and live settings. Reporting to the Accelerating Talent Director, you will coach, prioritize, manage performance, and partner with diverse teams to drive impactful development initiatives.

This hybrid role requires in-person trainings at Amgen headquarters and offers opportunities

Qualifications

• Pharma/training leadership experience required for US field staff.
• Experience coaching teams and managing performance.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience with LMS, Tableau, and Power BI helpful.
• Ability to manage multiple training projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Training Associates.
• Escalation point for operational and stakeholder issues.
• Manage onboarding and training rosters and communications.
• Coordinate Concur training and LMS compliance.
• Run reports from LMS/Tableau/Zoho and track metrics.
• Oversee live onsite training space and readiness.
