Job summary

Precision Systems, Inc. is a fast-growing transportation engineering firm seeking a Traffic Analysis/Modeling Project Manager in the DC region. The candidate will lead traffic studies, modeling efforts, and mentor a team of engineers and designers.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree and 8+ years of traffic analysis and modeling experience, with strong skills in VISSIM or Synchro. Hybrid work flexibility is offered, along with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of traffic analysis and modeling experience.
• Ability to operate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong experience with traffic simulation software VISSIM and/or Synchro.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage production of traffic engineering studies, analysis, and modeling including projects like traffic simulation, traffic demand modeling, and traffic impact studies.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, providing technical guidance, professional development, and performance management.
• Review and provide technical guidance on analysis and modeling submissions prepared by junior engineers and external consultants.
• Help perform quality control review for the work performed by junior engineers and peer senior engineers.
• Learn and use readily available resources, standards, and reference materials to provide the best quality design deliverables.
