DRW, a leading diversified trading firm headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Trading Application Specialist to integrate top-tier technology across trading desks. You will collaborate with vendors, traders and operations to optimize platform options, connectivity and performance.

The role requires knowledge of OMS/EMS, market data and risk concepts, plus excellent communication. Hybrid Chicago in-office presence four days weekly will apply.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI-native toolkits to ingest and analyze trading data.
• Knowledge of the trading industry across multiple strategies.
• Understanding of order and execution management systems (OMS/EMS).
• Knowledge of execution, market data and risk management terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the build out of analytical dashboards to track vendor and counterparty performance.
• Initiate and maintain communication with vendors for queries, requests and issues beyond front-line production support.
• Provide analysis to the business regarding platform options to support new trading opportunities including cost and features.
• Partner with internal groups to support onboarding new platforms.
• Provide platform demos to potential users focusing on their needs.
• Regularly review firm usage of vendor platforms and identify optimization opportunities.
• Maintain a wiki of vendor platforms with detailed feature sets.
• Assist in building a next-gen software catalog tracking permissions and connectivity.
• Help implement best practice standards for vendor implementations and relationships.
