Qualifications
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
- Active California Bar admission in good standing.
- 2+ years in trademark and copyright counseling and litigation.
- Experience with ownership, licensing, and fair use in transactions.
- Prior AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and legal writing skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in complex trademark and copyright litigation, including trial work.
- Provide counseling on strategy, enforcement, risk management, and media law compliance.
- Assist in investigating, prosecuting, and defending advertising and unfair competition claims.
- Draft and argue motions, prepare discovery responses, and manage trial preparation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to develop case strategies.
