Job summary

Koniag IT Systems LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a self-motivated Tier 1 Help Desk Engineer to support KITS and a government customer in downtown Washington, DC. This hybrid role requires onsite presence at least four days weekly with some telework and extended shifts.

Responsibilities include frontline support via ServiceNow, ticket management, and issue triage to Tier 2/3. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a readiness to obtain certifications within 45 days.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Windows 11, Microsoft 365 and Exchange/Outlook.
• Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS/Android) in a service desk context.
• Ability to obtain industry certifications within 45 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frontline Tier 1 technical support via multiple channels.
• Log, manage, prioritize, and document all incidents and service requests.
• Triage and escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 or engineering teams per SLAs.
• Provide clear end-user guidance to resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor operations and prepare trend reports for management.
